About me

Hi, I'm Sophie, the face behind Moggie Poppins. I'm a dedicated cat lover offering a bespoke cat sitting service. I've been working as a professional cat sitter since 2020 and have lived with cats my entire life, so have experience of their varying personalities and temperaments.

I understand that your cats are special to you, and I'm passionate about providing the best care possible, to enable your cats to feel as safe and happy as possible whilst you're away. I believe that cats are happiest in their own homes, so I provide personalised care that meets their individual needs.

I currently have a gorgeous black rescue cat called Lottie, and two guinea pigs.

Moggie Poppins visits are designed to cater to your pet's personality and needs, ensuring they receive the love and attention they deserve.

Refilling food and water in clean bowls
Litter tray cleared and refreshed
Cleaning up any little accidents
Playtime and cuddles
Brushing long haired cats, if required
Administering medication if required (except injections)
Making sure I have seen your cats when possible
Daily monitoring of their health and wellbeing
Regular updates, photos and videos of your pets

As well as caring for your cats, I can also feed your fish and other small pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, chickens etc, so please feel free to ask about this.

Meet and Greet

A free Meet and Greet visit will be arranged for new clients prior to your first booking. I will pop round a week or two before your booking start date to meet you, go through the requirements for your cats and any other small pets, find out where all the necessary items are located, and to collect a key. Most importantly I would like to meet your cats while they are feeling comfortable with you still at home.

20 - 30 Minute Visit

This popular service is the purr-fect length of visit to satisfy the crucial needs of your cats and home, whilst still leaving time for fuss and play.

£11 per visit

50 Minute - 1 Hour Visit

This longer length of visit provides that extra bit of time for cuddles and strokes, putting your cats at ease. Perfect for new or needy cats.

£17 per visit

Please Note

The fees shown apply for a maximum of 3 cats, for 4 or more cats an additional £4 will be charged per visit

The above fees are applicable within 3 miles of Pinchbeck (PE11 3SE), after which an additional fee of £1 per mile will be charged up to a maximum of 6 miles.

3 miles (prices as above)

3.1 - 4 miles (+ £1 per visit)

4.1 - 5 miles (+ £2 per visit)

5.1 - 6 miles (+ £3 per visit)

Bank Holidays

Bookings for bank holidays, Christmas Eve, and Easter Sunday, are charged at time and a half.
All prices are charged at twice the normal rate during Christmas Day and Boxing Day

Frequency of Visits

Ultimately it's up to you, but when choosing how many visits to book per day, have a think about your cat's normal routine and temperament, and any security measures required.

One visit per day

Morning or Evening

Two visits per day

For example, if your cat is fed twice a day, likes to have company/affection, twice daily medications, needs their cat flap locked overnight etc. I would also suggest two daily visits as standard for kittens.
